Released for Christmas and New Years, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s most awaited
movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has broken all records on its very first day of release. Brace yourself
because no other movie has earned this much in the year 2017. According to media reports,
the first-day collection is a mammoth of nearly 38 crores. Though it’s official announcement
is yet to come, going by the initial reports if this collection figure continues then it means
Salman has gifted the New Year gift to the Box-office right away. The film has been directed
by Ali Abbas Zafar in which Salman’s co-star Katrina Kaif is in the role of Zoya an ISI agent
The movie ‘Tubelight’ which was released earlier this year, did not receive much response at
the box-office and disappointed the audience. Salman is making a solid comeback as the
record breaker again through ‘Tiger Zinda hai’. The viewers’ reaction after exiting the
theatres seems to be very positive towards the film. People appreciate the acting, the
romance, the action, the climax and the storyline of the movie. This is the sequel to the 2012
movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger” that too had broke box office record.
The film also got a bang-on response in the United Arab Emirates. It’s first-day collection in
UAE is 6.08 crores. However, the film could not be released in Kuwait due to a ban. This is
estimated to have caused a loss of nearly 2 million dollars.
Finally, it will be known only after the weekend what is the concrete response that people
have given to the movie.
