Apple launches iPhone 8, iphone8 plus and the showstopper, iPhone X: the future speculations have arrived

The most awaited launch of the year has finally arrived and neither we nor the world can stop talking about it. A fusion of style, technology and future, the new iPhone trio boasts of everything. After months of rumors and leaks, Apple’s trio of new iPhones was officially announced on 12th September at the company’s new Cupertino, Calif., campus: the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. All three devices share similar features such as running iOS 11 and wireless charging, a first for iPhones.

Talking about iPhone 8, it has got display size of 4 inches and a screen resolution of 1334*750 pixels and starts at $699. iPhone 8 Plus is a 5.5-inch screen display with 1920*1020 pixel resolution and starts at a price of $799. iPhone X has got a 5.8-inch display with 246*1125 resolution and will start off at a hefty price of $999. All three of them have got same front camera and storage.

So iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus are same line extension to iPhone series whereas iPhone X is a complete change. It seems to be a new revolution to the whole of iPhone series. This product has got an all glass edge to edge display and the hallmark of iPhone i.e. the home button is missing in the new x series. The phone will have the Face ID to unlock the phone and other software applications. The iPhone X celebrates the 10th anniversary of Apple’s smartphone, featuring a radical redesign and new technology. Talking about iPhone 8, it will have a new A11 Bionic chip with six-cores and the 64-bit design. The dual camera will be just on the iPhone 8 Plus, while the iPhone 8 will have a 12MP rear camera. The dual camera will come with a beta version of the Portrait Lighting mode. The company is promising the highest quality video capture ever in a smartphone with better 4K and slow motion.

CEO Tim Cook chose to call iPhone X a top-end version of his company’s phone, the future of smartphones and predicted an impact similar to that of the first iPhone, launched a decade back. While the iPhone X might not be for everyone, the volume play will be with the new Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus smartphones.
